Baby shower games

Every baby shower requires that you play some baby shower games. Here are some of the games I played at my baby shower. My mother set them up and everyone at the shower had a great time playing them.

1. Never say Baby-  Give everybody at the baby shower a diaper pin and if someone is caught saying the word baby whoever catches the person saying baby can take the pin.  Whomever has the most pins at the end of the game will win a prize.
    
2. Guess Mommy's tummy size-  Pass out a spool of yarn for everybody at the baby shower to take a piece in which they think will fit best around Mom's tummy.  Whomever is the closest to Mom's actual size wins a prize.
    
3. Guess The Gerber flavor-  Put samples of different Gerber baby foods in individual bowls.  Blindfold each person and have them taste the different baby foods.  Than ask them to guess what flavor of baby food they just tasted.  Whomever gets the most correct will win a prize.
    
4. How many baby items can you guess -  Sure it sounds easy but it's a timed game so at the end it can get hard.  Give everyone 5 minutes to write down as many baby items as they can.  Whomever has the most items will win a prize.
    
5. Guess how many baby pins are in the jar-  Pass around a jar full of baby pins.  Have everybody guess how many pins are in the jar.  Whomever is closest to the actual number of pins in the jar will win a prize. 
    
6. Guess the Baby item-  Fill a bag with baby items including toys.  Blindfold people as everybody has a chance and whomever guesses the most correct items wins a prize.
    
7. Pin the baby on Mommy-  Like pin the tail on the donkey.  Blindfold each participant and give them a cut out picture of a baby.  Whomever pins the cut out picture closest to Mom's tummy wins a prize.
    
8. Baby scrambler-  Choose 25 baby items and scramble the letters.  Have participants try to unscramble the words.  The person who unscrambles the most baby items will win a prize.
    
9. Pass the dirty diaper-  The host has to fix the diaper, putting warm chocolate in the right spot.  Put your favor baby tune on the radio and pass the diaper to all participants standing in a circle.  When the music stops the person holding the diaper is out of the game.  The last person standing will win a prize.
    
10. Baby song list-  In 5 minutes have each participant write down as many songs as they can think of with the word baby in the title of the song.  For example, one for my baby, Santa baby, baby love.
     
11. Blindfold Diapering-  Break up people into teams with no more than five on a team.  Give each team a blindfold, a baby sized doll and a diaper.  Each participant is to put the blindfold on, take the diaper off the doll and place a new diaper on the doll.  Once done that person must pass in the blindfold on to the next person on their team who repeats the diapering.  The first team to finish diapering the doll wins the game.
